You may all know me as a musician who posts original songs and covers every now and then on social. But for my day job, I work in IT. Specifically, in software and website design/development. With the skills I’ve built over a couple of years, I’ve decided to make my own personal blog site to share my thoughts, stories, and music in the hopes that it would inspire others to do what they love as well.
I’ve been meaning to make my own personal website for a while but never really had the motivation to do it until now. So here we are. My personal blog site is finally up. Yey!!! 🎉
My life so far
I just turned 25 a couple of months ago. It may not look like it but it was somewhat of a surreal experience if you think of it from a different perspective. I am now a quarter of a century old! 😂
There’s this saying in Filipino that goes:
Malayo pa. Pero malayo na. (Still pretty far. But have already gotten so far.)
These couple of years after graduating from college have been a heck of a ride. A lot of ups and downs. But so far, life has been really good. I can work from wherever I want, pursue my hobbies and passions at the side, plus the occasional travel to different places every now and then, and of course, the financial stability to finally be able to give back to my folks.

I never thought I’d be in this position a couple of years back. Back then I was confused if I even chose the right career. Contemplating whether I should just go back to college and take another course.
But I persevered!
Looking back, I am really glad I stuck with this career path.
We each have our own paths to walk on in life so my situation is definitely different from others. But if there’s one advice I can give is to keep pushing no matter how hard it gets. It may not make sense now, but it will down the line. What you’re going through is temporary and once it’s over, you’ll be stronger and wiser than you once were.
